ISRAEL/USA: Israel provides henchmen for Gaddafi!!!

A man
believed to be a mercenary from Chad, captured by anti-government demonstrators
in Libya

BLOGGER COMMENT:The following are three articles posted on Press TV. They are related to each other. Nevertheless they are also confusing as regards why the two villains, Israel and the USA, would opt to acting in such a way.

The answer is very simple: the USA is covering as usual the Israeli ass as well as its own. As far as Israel is concerned, the rouge state will make billions of US dollars out  of the mercenaries deal

People in Tell Aviv have always said that the revolution in Libya is of no effect on Israel. Hence, in spite of the fact that Tell Aviv  hates the guts of the Libyan president, the Israeli government would not let such a extremely lucrative sum of money slip through their fingers.

Israel provides henchmen for Gaddafi

Israeli arms distribution company Global CST has reportedly, under the authorization of Tel Aviv, provided Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi with African mercenaries to clamp down on anti-government protesters.

Egyptian sources have revealed that the Israeli company has so far provided Gaddafi's regime with 50,000 African mercenaries to attack the civilian anti-government protesters in Libya.

The arms company was previously convicted in an African country over illegal deals, News-Israel website reported.

Sources say Global CST had obtained the permission for providing the mercenaries to Gaddafi from the Israeli officials in advance.

Earlier, Global CST general manager had met with the head of the Israeli Intelligence Agencies (Aman) and Defense Minister Ehud Barak and obtained the permission for the measure.

The company representatives also met with Abdullah Sanusi, the head of Libyan Internal Intelligence, in Chad to discuss the details for a final agreement, the report says.

The mercenaries who attack the civilians in Tripoli have mostly come from Chad.

Gaddafi regime pays $2000 per day for each mercenary. The mercenaries receive $100 per day and the remaining goes to Global CST, the report says.

Meanwhile, the United States has demanded the UN Security Council (UNSC) to remove the provisions of charging mercenaries with war crimes in the killing of Libyan civilians.

The request is for the UNSC to word the resolution in a way that no one from an outside country that is not a member of the International Criminal Court could be prosecuted by the Court for their actions in Libya.

The Libyan revolution, inspired by the recent revolutions in Egypt and Tunisia, sparked nearly two weeks ago.

Brutal crackdown by the Libyan regime on anti-government protesters has left thousands of people dead so far.

Thousands of Libyan protesters have taken to the streets since last week, calling for the ouster of the 68-year-old Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi.

'Libya hires African mercenaries'

Three buses full of mercenaries were seen in a small suburb of the capital city of Tripoli and elsewhere, a witnesses told Press TV on Tuesday.

People on the ground also said that mobile phones and the internet are jammed and there are only about 15 Soraya satellite phones among activists for communication.

This is while army warplanes bombed protesters in Tripoli early on Tuesday, according to the reports.

An activist said warplanes and helicopters are "indiscriminately bombing ... There are many, many dead."

The North African country is in turmoil since last week after people took to the streets to protest against the rule of Muammar Gaddafi.

In a short appearance on state-run television on Tuesday, Gaddafi rejected reports that he was fleeing to Venezuela, saying that he is in the Libyan capital.

Meanwhile, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay called for an international probe into Libya's violent crackdown on the protesters.

She also called for an immediate end to "unconscionable violations," warning the Libyan authorities that the systematic attacks against civilians could amount to "crimes against humanity."

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon also urged Gaddafi to show restraint and stop the violence against the anti-government demonstrators immediately.

The UN Security Council is set to convene on Tuesday to discuss the latest developments in the embattled nation.

United Nations Security Council

US urges support for Libya mercenaries

The United States has demanded the United Nations Security Council to remove the provisions of charging mercenaries with war crimes in the killing of Libyan civilians.

The request is for the UN Security Council to word the resolution in a way that no one from an outside country that is not a member of the International Criminal Court could be prosecuted by the Court for their actions in Libya.

Ann Wright, a former US diplomat, compared US officials with the foreign mercenaries in Libya and accused them of killing civilians in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yemen, in an interview with Press TV's US Desk.

US officials have done the same things in their massacres of people in Iraq and Afghanistan, and Yemen, where the United States officials from the highest level of our government have authorized attacks on innocent civilians," she said.

She described the Obama Administration as “very duplicitous - like the Bush Administration - trying to protect its own illegal actions which really do amount to war crimes in many cases.

The resolution, which was adopted on February 26, referred Libya to the International Criminal Court, signaling that the international community will not tolerate nationwide brutality by mercenaries in Libya under the rule of long-time dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

Anti-government protests in Libya that began early February have been viciously crushed by the ruling government, leaving an estimate of 2,000 people dead so far.
