"Ara'ayta Susata Wal-Aseelu Yalufuha Fi Hulatin Minal-Adhwa'i"
"Have you seen (the city of) Susah (Sousse) when she is being wrapped up in a suite of lights"
Tunisian poet
I do love the land. I do love the people. Tunisian people are honest, generous, brave. And this is my first hand lived experience, not read in a book or heard from someone.
Known to the Arabs as Tunis Al-Habeeb (Tunisia, the beloved) and Tunis Al-Khdhra' (Tunisia, the green) is a country located in North Africa. It is a country that encompass the oldest university on Earth; the University of Al-Kairouan while nations of Europe were living their dark ages.
Kairouan Mosque
As well known to every historian, mosques in the old time were not only a place of worship, but they also were places for acquiring knowledge; places of learning. Al-Kairouan mosque is not functioning as a university any more, thus leaving Al-Azhar mosque to be the oldest functioning university on Earth. Al-Azhar expanded its construction and its curricula now include secular subjects like medicine, engineering, science on top of its conventional subjects; religion, Arabic language, etc.
Al-Azhar Mosque (over a 1000 years old)
Recently the Tunisians rose up against their tyrant regime; one out of many in the Middle East, and caused the president to flee the country as the coward he is. Thus giving a message that tyranny does not last for ever, and if the nation wills to live a decent life, destiny has to obey the nation. It is a strong message to the other corrupt Middle eastern regimes like the one in Egypt.
Revolutions are contagious, but contagion , which in Tunisia case, is a benevolent. And is more or less influenced by the will of the oppressed people.
"Biladi, Biladi, Biladi,
Laki hubbi wa fou'aadi"
Laki hubbi wa fou'aadi"
"My country, my country, to thee I dedicate my love"
Egypt
is talking about herself
Translation of the first few lines
Al nations stood up witnessing how I alone do build the bases of glory
The pyramids builders in ancient times have spoken on my behalf when the challenge was due
I am a glorious crown on the head of the West, and its Jewels are strung on my necklace
..............................................................
If God wills for me to die, you won't see the East after my death raise up it head again.

Egyptians, wake up from your deep slumber. I know you are exhausted. I know the corrupt regime is driving you like slaves holding a thick club in its hand. I know corruption is spreading around because of poverty and demoralization.
Look at what the corrupt regime is doing. The regime is a traitor to the country and to all Arabs. Palestinians in Gaza; a neighbor land inhabited by our brothers and sisters; members of our Arabian family. The head of the regime sees them suffer, getting massacred indiscriminately. But he turns his head away, not being disgusted of the crimes committed in Gaza at the hands of Israel, but being indifferent and careless. He closes his eyes like the coward he is; a Jewish ass-licker, and a slave to his masters in Washington.I am so ashamed of him.
Nonetheless the statue of tyrant can be pulled down to shatter in the muck it deserves. The Tunisians did it. They were in the same boat like you ; suffering. But if they did, so you can. and the right path is "revolution is the solution".
Wrap yourselves with light of Susa's suite. You were glorious. so enchants Um-Kulthoom. you can still be glorious. Isn't Egypt God's arrows holder on His earth. Isn't Egypt the mighty rock on which her enemies arr. Multiple time you have driven the enemy without away, now it is time drive away the enemy within.
DON'T DON'T DON'T
DON'T be like it is said about you..
DON'T be like it is said about you..
"Shabun Yagma'uhu bookun wa tufarrikhu mikra'ah"
"A nation that gathers togethe at the sound of a tumpet, and disperse when stricked by a whip"
DON'T be like what the poet Al-Mutannabi said..
"Aghayatul-Ilmi an tahuffu shwaribakum, ya ummatan dhahikat min Jahlihal-Ummamu""Do you think the end of knowledge is how you trim you mustaches. What a nation mocked by other nations!
DON'T be what Israel descibes you..
Egyptiens are a nation that knows nothing but how to eat flafil and fuul medammis everyday, listen Um-Koulthoom singing while her people are smoking hashish.
Is the above what you are. I don not think so. You are a nation whose roots shoot fare down in history. You are a great nation. Enough said and know that action speak louder than words. So believed you ancestors. Let us all sing,as we all used to sing at school when we were kids saluting the flag...
"Biladi, Biladi, Biladi,
Laki hubbi wa fou'aadi"
Laki hubbi wa fou'aadi"
"My country, my country, to thee I dedicate my love"
Revolution
is the solution
