"JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday the United Nations would deal a "fatal blow" to prospects for Israeli-Palestinian peace if it endorsed a report critical of Israel's January war in Gaza.
I wonder how can this be, in itself, a fatal blow, or it is because Bibi said it is. (my comment)
Israel has been stepping up public attacks on the report into its three-week offensive in the Gaza Strip -- calling it unbalanced and one-sided -- before a meeting on Friday by the Geneva-based U.N. Human Rights Council.
Does Bibi know that Goldstone is Jewish and pro-Zionism...and Israel lover? So far, why hadn't he say, as the jews usually stegmatize people like Goldstone, as a self-hated Jew or charge him with anti-semitism? Is it because Judge Goldstone is known for his justice and fairness? (my comment)

Richard Goldstone, a former U.N. war crimes prosecutor who led the U.N. inquiry, urged on Tuesday the 47-member state Human Rights Council to adopt the report which found that the Israeli military and Palestinian militants committed war crimes. Adoption of the report would mean it is referred to the U.N. Security Council for further action.

Formal negotiations on Palestinian statehood have been suspended since the Gaza conflict.
Goldstone has urged the Security Council to bring the allegations to the International Criminal Court in The Hague if either Israel or Palestinian authorities failed to investigate and prosecute those suspected of such crimes within six months.
Israel launched the Gaza offensive with the declared aim of halting cross-border rocket attacks by Palestinian militants. A Palestinian rights group says 1,417 Palestinians, including 926 civilians, were killed in the Gaza war. Israel has said 709 Palestinian combatants, 295 civilians and 162 people whose status it was unable to clarify were killed.
I do not know why the Zionists always get confused when dealing with numbers here and specially with their infamous SHOAH number. Responding to the German philosopher Ernst Nolte who claimed that the Holocaust was not unique, the German historian Eberhard Jäckel wrote in 1986 that the Holocaust was unique because: "the National Socialist killing of the Jews was unique in that never before had a state with the authority of its responsible leader decided and announced that a specific human group, including its aged, its women and its children and infants, would be killed as quickly as possible, and then carried through this resolution using every possible means of state power". Isn't this what happened regarding Gaza? People have been ethnically cleansed; men, women, elderly, children; millitant and non-milittant; all massacred. (my comment)

In a briefing to reporters after the Israeli cabinet met, Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said Netanyahu's government was discussing the possibility of setting up an independent commission to look into the military's conduct of the Gaza war.
(IsraelNN.com) Foreign Ministry spokesman Yigal Palmor warned Thursday that if the United Nations charges Israeli leaders with war crimes based on the Goldstone report, it could put an end to the war on terrorism by crippling efforts to fight terror organizations.
This cannot be called legitmate war as the satanic state of Israel wants us to believe
