USA: Look Over There! Look Over There! Nothing to See Here... Look OVER THERE!!!

While most of the MSM focuses entirely on Japan or the drifting fallout, winds of CHANGE are blowing through the Obama administration who are definitely taking advantage of the distraction. The president has chosen this particular moment in time to take up the question of gun control in the wake of the shooting in Arizona which took place more than 2 months ago. Hillary Clinton has once again been pushing for the establishment of a no-fly zone and military intervention in Libya in a G-8 Summit meeting in Paris but several other leaders don't seem to want to help her and her CIA linked MI-6 "diplomats" overthrow the Gadhafi regime.  You will never see a better equipped and more violent group of "pro-democracy demonstrators" in the entire Middle Eastern uprising.  The Obama administration played down the violence against the protesters in Egypt and Tunisia and even called for the corrupt regimes there to remain while "modifications" to their rule were slowly worked out.  Those protesters had no heavy truck-mounted weapons, no MI-6 "advisers", and no offer from Israeli security companies to fund "separation forces".

While the Obama administration works hard to unseat Gadhafi because his forces are fighting back against the heavily armed insurgents in Libya, the peaceful protesters in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and Bahrain are being slaughtered without so much as a peep coming from our Peace Prize "winning" president.

In Yemen the pro-western dictator of 30 years, President Saleh, is using poison gas and live rounds on his unarmed pro-democracy demonstrators to keep his hold on power. Hunt oil has a big pipeline deal in Yemen and lots of natural gas to steal from those poor people. The poisoned gas he is using is reported to have come from the U.S. and Britain.  But not a word from Obama the peace-maker.

In Bahrain, where a REAL pro-democracy movement is sweeping the nation, the pro-western dictator there is also cracking down on CHANGE in his country and they have brought in troops from another dictatorship favorable to the U.S., Saudi Arabia, to help quell that peaceful yet massive uprising of people calling for democracy in their country (go here to watch a convoy of Saudi heavy weapons and tanks rolling into Bahrain to crush the pro-democracy movement).  And just like with Tunisia and Egypt, not a significant meaningful peep from President Peace Prize, much less a call for military intervention. Of course Saudi Arabia has plenty of time now since they already crushed their protests by locking up and disappearing thousands of their own citizens while Obama remained silent.

Let me show you with pictures what this really looks like, who is actually supported by the Obama administration and who isn't (these are in sequence and yes, the uprising in Yemen predates the revolution in Tunisia).....

It seems that there is a certain type of demonstrator the Obama regime wants to help in the Middle East. Can YOU see the difference?

Meanwhile in Wisconsin and Michigan and else-where across the U.S., the neoliberalization plan of America, our own "economic brick" like that dropped on the people of Chile on Sept. 11th 1973, continues unnoticed and uncondemned by Barack H. Obama and his neoliberal Clintonista "CHANGE™ "  regime.  The unions and the AG in Wisconsin are actually working together to stall the implementation of Gov. Walker's robber baron bill so that they can negotiate new deals before it takes place.  People are still fighting back and resisting the death of democracy here at home in the United States.

But don't pay any attention to that.

PROTESTS: 10 Protests that Changed the World


2011 has been an eventful year thus far. We are amid protests, both violent and peaceful, signifying discontent with the status quo. Each one further challenges the delicate balance of power, and the origination and legitimacy of this initial balance remains questionable. The majority of people in countries like Egypt and Libya did not collectively endorse the distribution of power in the Middle East, nor did they vote for leaders to indefinitely retain their (mostly appointed) roles. Last month, we saw the desperation of Egyptians and Libyans, no longer willing to tolerate iron-fisted rulers. It's a difficult, but beautiful thing to see. We now have a variety of media outlets providing constant coverage of changes in the political and economic landscape. The diverse range of these sources and social networking tools give protesters even greater incentive to publicly demonstrate intolerance;  however, protests are in no way a recent phenomenon. Protests and public demonstrations have been happening long before modern technology and media reigned. People protest, and there are long lasting implications. Here are some of the most prominent public demonstrations, some before and some during our lifetimes. One thing is for sure: Each one, unique in its own way, will leave a legacy outlasting even our children's lifetimes.
  1. Tiananmen Square Protests: The protests in Tiananmen Square, also known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre of 1989, caught the attention of the world. After the Communist Party of China began to implement reforms towards a market based economy, they did so without consulting the people of the country. College students, young professionals, and intellectuals demanded democratic reforms in the Square in 1989. The movement grew to incorporate thousands of people. The government was quick to react. Troops and tanks came into the square and fired at protesters. Until this day, the total number of deaths is unknown. However, the incident did demonstrate that communism was not always in line with political liberalization.
  2. Overthrowing Ben Ali: Reportedly, former first lady of Tunisia, Leila Trabelsi, took over a ton of gold from her bank before fleeing to Saudi Arabia. This last gesture exemplifies why Tunisians became so intolerant of the Ben Ali regime. They felt Ben Ali and his family had cheated the people, by taking all of the country's wealth and political power. The ruler's 23 years in power finally came to an end after a month of protests, which began in January. Over 200 people were killed in the protest, but in the end, Ben Ali and his cronies left for Saudi Arabia. The implications of these protests were important for not only Tunisia, but also the world. The people's persistence and vigor set an example and precedent for many other Middle Eastern countries. Just a few days later, Egyptians, Bahrainis, Libyans, and Yemenis began to follow in Tunisia's footsteps.
  3. Egyptians Overthrow Mubarak: After Egyptians saw Ben Ali shamefully flee from his own country, they realized they would defy Mubarak at all costs. They had had enough. If people could spur so much change in a country as small as Tunisia, Egypt was no exception. Mubarak had become a billionaire after ruling the country for 30 years, and to say he ruled with an iron fist is an understatement. His cronies and military supporters were able to crush dissent at a frighteningly rapid pace, but this time Egyptians refused to falter. For about two weeks, Egyptians protested in Tahrir Square. Pro-Mubarak mobs attacked protesters after the first week, but they refused to get back to work until Mubarak resigned. The future of Egypt is still uncertain, but we can expect to see democratic reforms for the new government.
  4. The March on Washington: It's the 21st century, and the world's most powerful country has an African American president. The United States has come far from its once racist and brutal slave system. The March on Washington was the protest that helped us take the necessary strides for equality. This protest, which took place in Washington D.C. on August 28, 1963, consisted of about 300,000 people. The purpose of the rally was to demand equal economic and civil rights for African Americans. The renowned Martin Luther King gave his "I Have a Dream" speech, which drew great international media attention. Singers like Bob Dylan and Joan Baez performed at the rally and the protest lead the way for long term reform. Both the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 are said to be results of this great march.
  5. The Boston Tea Party: Let's look at a protest that helped America come into existence. This protest, which took place prior to the American Revolution, was an act of defiance against the British Parliament. The British East India Tea Company had a monopoly on the market of indirectly exporting tea to American colonists. The colonists, already angry that they had no representation in Parliament, could buy tea much cheaper from Dutch companies. However, the British government only allowed them to buy it from this company. On December 16, 1773, colonists decided to throw three shiploads full of tea into the Boston Harbor in rebellion. This was one of the many courageous acts leading to the American Revolution. Colonists demonstrated they would not acquiesce to Parliament's unjust demands.
  6. Gandhi Leads the Salt March: Gandhi initially tried to stay out of the political limelight. However, he was able to lead the Indian people in a peaceful resistance movement towards Indian independence. One of the hallmark protests was the Salt March, or the Salt Satyagraha. In an attempt to protest the British monopoly of salt exports to India, Gandhi led a 24-day, 240-mile march to show his defiance of the tax on salt production in India. More than 80,000 Indians were jailed during the march, and the protests received a great deal of international media attention. People started to question Britain's authority in India, and eventually Britain was forced to leave the country. However, Gandhi's nonviolent methods of resistance (Satyagraha) continue to be remembered.
  7. Fall of the Berlin Wall: The protests against oppressive communist regimes began much earlier than the fall of the Berlin Wall; however, the protests leading up to the fall of the wall were particularly important. Demonstrations began in September 1969, as Eastern Germans refused to live within an oppressive, artificial command economy system. After East Germany's head of state resigned in October 1969, travel bans between East and West Germany were lifted. Shortly after the press conference issued the announcement to lift travel bans, previous protesters went to tear down the wall. It was a peaceful but joyful occasion—Soviet strength and soft power was declining.
  8. Iranian Revolution: Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi is remembered as a very controversial figure. He was somewhat popular earlier in his reign, but by late 1977 and early 1978, Iranians organized their resistance efforts into a large campaign of civil resistance. The campaign was also religious, which explains why the Ayatollah came into power after the Shah went into exile. The demonstrations before the Iranian Revolution were particularly interesting because of their quick build up. Furthermore, they lacked the drastic event that usually precedes a revolution of its caliber. For example, there was no economic or financial crisis preceding the event. The final revolution had long lasting impacts in Iran and for its Western allies.
  9. Woodstock: A Protest for Peace and Music: This should be recognized as one of the most important protests in history. Although it doesn't necessarily have the same implications or characteristics as the protests above, it is remembered as one of the most pivotal moments in the history of Rock and Roll. Known as the "Aquarian Exposition: 3 Days of Peace and Music," Woodstock took a turn from the mundane, depressing state of American foreign and domestic policy. While America was entangled in the Vietnam War and some financial difficulties, the Woodstock attendees decided to put it all behind them. It was time to celebrate the music and just being alive. The concert ended up being free, and it attracted close to half a million people.
  10. Jon Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity and Fear: So, if you thought Woodstock didn't qualify as a protest, you may think this is an even more ridiculous item on the list. However, this protest drew attention around the world. It showcased the power of social media outlets, large fan bases, and most importantly, dissatisfaction with extremely conservative and liberal point of views in the media. Largely in response to Glen Beck's rally to restore honor, the two famous comedy show hosts joined heads to host a rally of about 215,000 people in Washington D.C. Jon Stewart explained that 20% of the most extreme views (both liberal and conservative) are controlling the American media. He wanted to, well, restore sanity. Whether it worked is still being debated, but he tried something new as a way to challenge the system, and that's the spirit of all true protests.

ISRAEL: Israel's historic loss


The Arab revolutions spreading across the region are a death knell to Israel, Israeli analysts agree, writes Saleh Al-Naami

With great secrecy, Isaac Molho -- special envoy of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu -- spent an entire week communicating with senior administration and congress officials in Washington, to deliberate joint coordination on the positions of Israel and Obama's administration regarding the democracy revolutions sweeping the Arab world. Although he did not reveal what was reached in talks, a pressing question poses itself in Washington and Tel Aviv about the impact of the Arab revolutions on relations between the two sides. Will these revolutions strengthen ties or weaken them?

According to heated debate in Israel on the matter, the answer to this question varies. Some believe that the revolutions in the Arab world that have toppled or weakened tyrannical regimes that cooperated with the US and the West means that Israel's value as a US strategic ally has risen significantly, because these developments have irrevocably proven that the US no longer has a stable ally who can be relied upon to protect US interests in the region except Israel.

Israel's former defence minister Binyamin Ben Eliezer asserted that after the ouster of president Mubarak's regime, which was considered the closest US ally in the region and the most willing to serve Israeli interests, other Arab regimes that are allies of the US cannot be trusted, such as Jordan, the Gulf States and Morocco.

Yoram Ettinger, of Ariel Centre for Policy Research, agrees with Ben Eliezer saying that the allies the US has lost in two months remind it of what it lost over decades: the regimes of the Shah in Iran and Turkey in the past, and today those in Egypt and Tunisia. "There are real concerns that the revolution will reach Jordan and topple the regime in Amman," wrote Ettinger in an article published in Yediot Aharonot. "If this happens, no doubt it will deal a severe blow not only to the US but even more for Israel."

Ettinger went on to list the assistance that Israel has provided the US at critical points in history, noting that when the US was preoccupied with its war in Vietnam, Israel intervened in 1970 to prevent Syria from toppling King Hussein's regime after he massacred the Palestinians in what is known as Black September. Ettinger also cited Israel's role in preventing Arab countries from becoming a powerful military force since this also represents a clear benefit for the US, remarking that Israel bombed the nuclear reactor in Iraq in 1981 and a nuclear facility in northeast Syria in 2006.

However, he continued, the most valuable contribution Israel has made to the US is in the intelligence sector. Senator Dan Inouye, the chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee, who previously served as chairman of the Intelligence Committee, is quoted as saying that the intelligence data that Israel provides the US is more valuable than all the intelligence coming from NATO states combined.

Ettinger revealed that Israel has played and continues to play a major role in advancing the US's ability to confront resistance forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. He specifically mentioned Israel's contribution in providing the US army with technology and technical and intelligence assistance that has enabled the US to improve its capability to avoid roadside bombs and booby-trapped vehicles. Israel has also provided valuable assistance in the pursuit and interrogation of resistance fighters.

But Zalman Shoval, Israel's former ambassador to Washington and a Likud leader, disagrees with Ettinger. Shoval believes that because the US quickly abandoned its ally, Mubarak, this will encourage the rest of its allies to reconsider their alliance with the US. He indicated that some leaders might turn to Iran if they feel they cannot rely on Washington in a time of crisis.

Unlike the majority of Israeli analysts, Shoval believes that the danger threatening US-Israeli relations are the Republicans, not the Democrats. He pointed out that Mike Huckabee, who might run as the Republican candidate for the presidency in the next election, has publicly said that in light of the dramatic developments in the Arab world the US must step back and stop interfering in foreign countries, and instead of spending money on ties with foreign countries it should invest it in development projects at home. Huckabee has even suggested stopping all economic and military aid to Israel.

Shoval argued that although there is a large majority in both the Republican and Democrat parties who enthusiastically support strong ties with Israel, it is not unlikely that many Americans could end up thinking like Huckabee.

The Marker, an Israeli financial newspaper, predicted that Israel would suffer an economic catastrophe after the fall of Mubarak's regime. In an extensive report, the newspaper said that Israel would have to cut spending in many civic sectors to cover rising security costs, which will gravely undermine the economic stability of the country. The article continued that the most critical economic repercussions of the ouster of the Mubarak regime are the devaluation of the Israeli currency, the shekel, and loss of confidence in Israel's economy.

Tsivi Leebya, an economics expert, contended that the departure of Mubarak's regime requires Israel to reassess its security situation. As Arab regimes around Israel fall, Leebya stated, decision-makers must review their priorities. In an article published in the Hebrew version of Yediot Aharonot, he argued that post-Mubarak Israel must tighten its purse strings and rescind some measures taken to ease burdens on Israelis, such as cutting taxes, and give priority to security expenditure over social expenditure. Leebya noted that the geopolitical aftershocks of the political earthquake in Egypt require Israel to review its entire budgeting.

He continued that these developments would decrease surplus national income that at the end of last year came to $20 billion. Israel was able to avoid the negative effects of the world economic crisis and at the time the governor of Israel Bank did not hesitate to buy dollars worth 70 billion shekels to stop the devaluation of the dollar in transactions inside Israel. Leebya urged that economic policy-makers in Israel must review their priorities in the 2011-2012 budget, saying that it is not unlikely that Israel will present a surplus budget to cover the costs of security, which will certainly increase.

Yediot Aharonot reported that the Knesset would withdraw its proposal to slash fuel prices because of reports that Egyptian natural gas will no longer be exported to Israel. The newspaper predicted certain deterioration in security conditions and a drop in tourism, which is a vital source of revenue for Israel. In fact, tourism in Israel had reached unprecedentedly high levels in 2010. Developments will likely result in cancellations of hotel bookings and trips by foreign businessmen to Israel. The publication further suggested that international tourism agencies would stop signing contracts with Israeli companies.

Ari Shavit, an Israeli intellectual, stated that the revolutions taking place in the Arab world clearly indicate that the Arab genie is out of the bottle. In an article in Haaretz on 24 February, Shavit noted that the "great Arab revolutions" are proof that a new agenda will rule the Arab world, and that the Arab people are breathing freedom after liberation from the shackles of fear. He commiserated the bad luck of the US, because it lost Egypt and Tunisia after it had lost Turkey, which means the end of the Arab moderate bloc in the face of Iran.

Shavit advised Obama's administration to win the hearts of the Arabs through military intervention in Libya, setting the precedent by which it can intervene in other areas in the future, such as Iran.

Israelis agree that democratic transformation in the Arab world will negatively affect Israel. The majority of analyses and reports in the Israeli media argue that the transformation of Arab regimes to democracies is a knockout blow to Israel, because democratic Arab regimes will be less tolerant of Israel. They would also be less willing to cooperate on security issues behind the scenes with Tel Aviv. On the other hand, dictatorships are more pragmatic and hypocritical by paying lip service to the Palestinians while brokering secret alliances with Israel.

RUSSIA: Warning West anhd Europe over democracy calls

 Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov has issued a sharp warning to the West over calls for the spread of democracy in the Middle East in the wake of the popular uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia.

Following talks in London with Foreign Secretary William Hague, Mr Lavrov said that calls for revolution in the region were "counter-productive".

He also hit out at the United States and Europe for imposing further sanctions on Iran over its nuclear programme without wider international backing.

He warned that Russia would not support further measures which created "social problems" for the Iranian population.

Mr Lavrov's visit had been billed as an attempt to rebuild relations between Britain and Russia, which have been problematic since the murder in London of former KGB officer Alexander Litvinenko in 2006

At their joint news conference on Tuesday, Mr Hague said they were working to achieve a "patient, steady improvement" in relations - including an agreement to modernise the hotline between Number 10 and the Kremlin. He acknowledged that "serious disagreements" remained between them.

Mr Lavrov warned that attempts to encourage the spread of "democracy of a specific pattern" to other Middle East states such as Iran and Bahrain could backfire on the West.

He pointed to the Palestinian elections which resulted in victory in Gaza for the Islamist organisation, Hamas. "We need to understand the consequences of such encouragement," he said, speaking through an interpreter. "We don't think it is right to encourage specific schemes of action in terms of the Middle East states. We have had one revolution in Russia and we don't believe that we need to call for others."

His comments appeared to be aimed at US secretary of state Hillary Clinton, who said she "clearly and directly" supported anti-government protesters who took to the streets in Iran following the ousting of Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak.

(Reuters) - CBS correspondent Lara Logan was beaten and sexually assaulted by a mob while covering the jubilation in Cairo's Tahrir Square on the day Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down, the U.S. broadcasting network said Tuesday.

Logan, a 39-year-old South Africa native and longtime war correspondent, has since flown back to the United States and is recovering in hospital. She was one of dozens of journalists attacked during the three weeks of protests throughout Egypt.

CBS News said in a statement Logan was covering the celebrations for CBS's "60 Minutes" program on February 11 when she and her team were surrounded by "a mob of more than 200 people whipped into a frenzy."

"In the crush of the mob, she was separated from her crew. She was surrounded and suffered a brutal and sustained sexual assault and beating before being saved by a group of women and an estimated 20 Egyptian soldiers," CBS said.

Logan made her name as a war correspondent for Britain's GMTV during the start of the U.S.-led Afghanistan war in 2001 and subsequently reported on the war in Iraq and its violent aftermath. She joined CBS News in 2002.

The Committee to Protect Journalists, a media watchdog group, said at least 52 journalists were attacked and 76 were imprisoned during the unrest in Egypt that led Mubarak to step down after 30 years in power. All have been released, it said.

One journalist, Ahmad Mohamed Mahmoud of the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ta'awun, was killed while filming clashes near Tahrir Square, the CPJ said.

"Egypt's old regime orchestrated a ferocious campaign to stop the news of this movement for change," Paul Steiger, a member of the CPJ's board and former managing editor of The Wall Street Journal said.

He was speaking at a news conference to discuss the group's annual report, which examined working conditions for journalists in more than 100 countries. It said 44 journalists were killed and 145 were imprisoned in 2010.

The number of deaths marked a sharp drop from the 71 recorded in 2009. The high toll that year stemmed from a massacre in the Philippines in which at least 34 journalists died -- the single deadliest event for journalists ever.

Pakistan was the deadliest country for journalists in 2010, with eight killed, followed by Iraq with five. Indonesia, Mexico and Honduras followed, each with three reporters slain.

This year's report highlights the increasing importance of web-based journalism. In 2010, 69 journalists whose work appeared primarily online were jailed, according to the CPJ.

Steiger said attacks on Internet journalists, which often include cyberattacks and attacks on websites, must be closely monitored.

"The often invisible, sophisticated attacks constitute a new front in the fight for press freedom," he said. "We need to pay close attention to Internet censorship."

Globalist Destabilization Efforts Under Cover of Egypt’s Real Revolution

In every crisis, real or manufactured, there is… opportunity.

Contrary to Julian Assange’s assessment, the current wave of pro-democracy movements in the Middle East (recently called a “virus” by John McCain) was not created by the CIA honeypot called Wikileaks. Nor, as the one-time Lyndon LaRouche follower Webster Tarpley has put it, was it all a CIA destabilization plan. There are causes that track back to the United States, English banks, and Wall Street which mainly deal with accelerating food prices due to rampant speculation, a global wave of unemployment due to a planned demolition of the global economy, and the despotic dictatorial rule by U.S. and British friendly puppet regimes, so yes, you can trace the roots of these outbreaks back to the global interests the CIA serves.

But these uprisings are mainly in countries that already serve our “national interests” ie our banks and multi-national corporations and many of them are critically important to ongoing venture capital programs like Egypt (Suez Canal) and Yemen (Hunt Oil Pipeline) for starters.

So why lite those fires 
when the outcome is uncertain at best?

C.I.A. destabilization plans are used in countries that are not already friendly to our interests (see above) such as Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, and of course… Iran.  The differences between the real revolutions and the fake ones are very important. We cannot forget.

The contagion of the sub-prime housing bubble and derivatives scam was deliberately spread through-out Western Europe by banks closely connected with the White House and the Royal family of England (Goldman Sachs, Bank of England). The purpose was to create the pretext for decimating the social safety net created in Europe after WWII. Privatization and open markets were too tempting to resist and so the plan was to neoliberalize all of Western Europe at the same time they planned to achieve that goal here in the U.S. The global crisis was also felt in other nations naturally like those which are already subject to our “free market” IMF system of controls, but they weren’t necessarily the intended targets. Poverty and massive levels of corruption was already rampant in these Middle Eastern client states but they were also already firmly under the thumb of the globalist interests.

Now you add the devastating effects of the out of control food price speculators on Wall Street, who are busy setting up the next bubble to burst, and what you have is basically a “perfect storm” if you will of revolution: out of work people, starving, being robbed and oppressed without mercy. When you leave a people desperately hopeless, they will endeavour to make their own.

(Let’s not forget that the first of these uprising didn’t happen in Tunisia but rather in Western Europe; Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Germany, Great Britan, and Spain have all seen major demonstrations and violence on the streets. These were ligitimate reactions to this global crisis and no one dared call these CIA ops.)

Prior to all of this, Sec. of State Clinton did a sweeping tour of many of our client states in the Middle East, just a couple of months before Tunisia’s uprising.

During this tour she was reportedly trying to warn our puppets that this “perfect storm” was brewing and she was trying to give them advise on how to avoid it. In Jordan for instance, they started a program of handing money over to the poor and those who were out of work and also promising them educational benefits when things “turned around”. That didn’t work. The King of Jordan had to eventually fire the entire government as well and protests are still happening there now as we speak.

Don’t confuse foresight with intent.  Just because these globalists could see this problem building up does not mean they created it on purpose. To do so undermines the legitimacy not only of the efforts and the courage of the people who are literally risking their lives to achieve a better standard of living for themselves and their families as well as a hopeful future, but it also undermines what we already know about the CIA and various globalist organizations and the countries that they run.

This is why Assange and Tarpley both serve the same interests when they present faulty conclusions such as they have.

To prove my point, 
let’s take a look at what is happening in Iran.

Unlike Tunisia and Egypt, Bahrain and Yemen… what is happening in Iran is being given top-notch, prime-time MSM coverage all across the political spectrum, from Little Green Footballs to Huffington Post, from Fox News to CNN.   And at best we are talking about “protests” involving at most “a couple thousand” people.  Why is it that such a small number of protesters are being given so much attention by the corporate media here in the states?

Take for instance the Huffington Post’s story on these protests. They go so far as to make the claim that “hundreds of thousands” are rallying against the Iranian government but with only a link to a story showing people in a demostration for solidarity with the Egyptian people as proof. When a million met in Tehran to show solidarity with the U.S. after 9/11, where they opposing their own government? Of course not. This is where an understanding of history is vitally important. Also look at the photos they have to show for these “protests” and compare them to what we have all seen in Egypt.

Twelve 30-somethings, throwing rocks at no one, deliberately photographed at a low tight angle so that their miniscule numbers would not be obvious. Also look at the picture and the people walking down the street paying these guys no attention. Does that seem like a life and death struggle being waged all across the neighborhood to you?

Huffington Post’s new AOL ties are showing at the seams. This is their front-page photo right now. And it’s a staged globalist lie designed to help create a pretext for yet another undemocratic regime change. Would you expect anything else from HuffPo these days?

Also look at how Hillary Clinton is talking about these protests and compare that to what she said about Tunisia and especially Egypt.

When the pro-democracy demonstrations were at their height in Egypt, Clinton was still on the side of the dictator Mubarak, claiming that we couldn’t dictate who lead that country and that we had to help a slow process of change. She stood with Mubarak right up until he was finally forced to leave by the millions and millions of people protesting all across Egypt.

In contrast, Clinton is already calling for regime change in Iran while about a thousand pro-business thugs are running around Iran attacking anything they can.

The other day there was a public gathering of people to show support for the people of Egypt. It was supported by the government in Iran and in fact encouraged. While Clinton and Obama stood with Mubarak, Iran’s government took the bold step of standing with the people of Egypt, something that Hillary herself has to admit almost daily.

Just like after 9/11 when a million people showed up in Tehran to show their support for us, so too did they last week in order to show support for the Egyptian people. But the globalists and their corporate backed NGOs saw this as an opportunity to relaunch their destabilization efforts under the cover of real pro-democracy movements in the rest of the Middle East. So they did.
They sent in their little pro-business middle management wanna-bees, people who fully expect to profit from the moment the IMF and our privatization plans are enacted in Iran, and they staged little confrontations and protests, thus hijacking what was a peaceful, pro-government, pro-democracy in Egypt demonstration.

This is how they think.

So the media immediately, as if on cue, went with the story line (amazingly shared by all the media as if it were written by someone else) that the massive demonstrations were “protests” against the current regime in Iran. That is a lie. Period.  Just like back when the Green Revolution first took place after the election, the MSM tried to lie and say that the election had been stolen when in fact, it had not.  Multiple outside organizations observed the elections in Iran that year and each one of them determined they had been fair.

The people of Iran like their current system. They like the fact that their president stands up to the U.S. and Israel. They like the fact that the IMF and World Bank don’t own their country. This is what makes it difficult to destabilise Iran. Next to impossible really.

That is why the people running this sideshow know that they will not be able to move enough people in Iran to their side to affect the same change that we are seeing in Egypt, Tunisia, Bahrain, and Yemen.  They don’t expect that to happen at all.

So why are they doing it?

They believe that they can use the public sympathies with the real revolutions to justify forced regime change in Iran just so long as they can create the illusion that these things are one and the same.

They clearly are not.

How do I know this? I just watched a video of the Young Turk interviewing a well-known neo-con Frank Gaffney. The Turk has clearly been fooled by all of this and he is a prime example of what I am talking about, having erroneously mapped the courage of the poor people in Egypt right on top of the cowardly business-first weasels running around in Iran attacking police and anyone else who disagrees with their plans to bring back the Shah (an example of that is a video of these “protesters” attacking another Iranian who took exception to their banner calling for the murder of their president).

The Young Turk was trying to suggest that we should let the uprising in Iran work itself out, and he actually proudly showed U.S. government Tweets calling for regime change as the “right way” to do it. Believe it or not, he called out Obama for cutting funding to some of these “pro-democracy” think-tank/NGOs which work exclusively with the CIA to destabilise otherwise decent democracies, all for the good of our “national interests” (see above).

The Young Turk certainly misses the boat on this one but at least he went on to press Gaffney on whether or not we should use military might to aid these fake protesters. Gaffney stated that “if” the protests aren’t successful, then we should assist them militarily because as we all know, Iran is planning to take the nuclear weapon they don’t have and put it on a “tramp steamer” and float it over here so they can take out Miami, or some other such non-sense.

As ridiculous as Gaffney’s argument sounds, it wouldn’t even get off the ground were it not for the Young Turk’s misunderstanding of what was happening in Iran. And that is the real danger here. That is the danger of not knowing the difference between a real movement, a real uprising, borne of desperation and the yearning for self-determination… and a fake color revolution, bought and paid for by U.S. business interests.

As Bill Moyers just recently said “It is a sad world that exists only in the present, unaware of the long procession that brought us here.”  We in the dissent community, those of us who refuse to accept the status quo of information strictly because someone says so, we must work to remember the history that brought us here in spite of concerted efforts and the pleasant fiction of forgetting.

That is the harm of what people like Assange and Tarpley are doing. By clouding the issues, by misrepresenting the histories of these revolutions, they are deliberately muddying the waters so that people can’t discern one thing from the other. This is part of the deceptions of war and probably the most important part. They will never succeed in turning enough people in Iran against their government. They know that. That is exactly what Gaffney was saying on the Young Turk. So the objective is not destabilization in Iran but rather destabilization here in the states among those very same people who stand opposed to the illegal invasion of Iran.

Revolution in Egypt and Iran; one is real, the other is not.  The differences are important to understand.

RESPONSE: The above quote is a wrong inference from a fiscal law in Shulchan Oruch, Choshen Mishpat 405.3, that relates to times when slavery was a standard and accepted practice across the world.

RESPONSE: This is a misquotation. Rabbi Yosef Albo (the author) was asked by a Christian thinker about seeming injustice of the laws of Judaism dealing with charging interest on a loan. (According to Deuteronomy 23:20 and 23:21, a Jew is not allowed to lend with interest to another Jew, but may do so to a Gentile).

R. Albo answers: The "Gentile" or "heathen" in the above passage refers to idolater, who refuses to keep seven Noahide laws. The laws are universal for all mankind: A) prohibition of idolatry, B) prohibition of blasphemy, C) prohibition of murder, D) prohibition of immorality and promiscuity, E) prohibition of theft, F) establishment of judicial system, G) prohibition of cruelty to animals.

Such a person, who does not respect other's rights, places himself apart from human community and therefore can expect to be treated according to his own rules. He is a threat to everyone around and hence if somebody kills him, that person is not charged. On the contrary, even according to non-Jewish philosophers in those days (14th and 15th century, Spain), as R Albo brings, such a person should be killed. So it is regarding money matters: the prohibition of taking interest, that applies to everybody, including a non-Jew who keeps the Noahide laws (as R. Albo mentions a few sentences earlier), do not apply to him.

The following line in this passage is that this law does not apply to anyone non-Jewish and it is forbidden to harm any gentile. The Jewish heretics are people which are a potential cause of harm and trouble to the Jewish nation. The penalty is designed to demonstrate the severity with which heretical views were considered, rather than a practical penalty as such penalties were rarely imposed. E.S./David S. Maddison.

The word "Rabbi" refers to one of the ancient scribes - supposedly a holy man - who participated in writing the "Talmud". In Arabic, which is a Semitic language and a cousin to Hebrew, the word is"Rabbanie", or "Rabbie", means a godly man. My question is, are they really godly? I strongly doubt that. Israel's new Ashkenazi chief rabbi case: JERUSALEM: Israel's new Ashkenazi chief rabbi is facing growing calls to step down amid allegations of misconduct. The allegations center on sexual harassment charges against Yona Metzger, as well as charges that he engaged in fraud and is not qualified for the post. Aides to Metzger have rejected the allegations as a smear campaign fueled by political rivals.

Metzger and his Sephardi counterpart, Rabbi Shlomo Amar, were elected as Israel's chief rabbis April 14 by a 150-member public committee. Since then, however,
opposition to Metzger has grown. In the latest development, a Tel Aviv accountant filed a petition Monday in the High Court of Justice challenging Metzger's appointment. It will be heard by a three-judge panel.


The petition claims that allegations of fraud and other improprieties involving Metzger were not fully investigated because of his 1998 pledge not to stand for chief rabbi of Tel Aviv. Metzger's spokesman, Roni Rimon, told the Israeli daily Ma'ariv that the petition was full of "lies, lies and more lies" produced by "professional slanderers.". Metzger had been accused of forging witnesses' signatures on marriage contracts and unlawfully demanding payment for performing weddings, the daily Ha'aretz reported. As a result of the allegations, Metzger's permit to serve as a chief rabbi of a major city was revoked. However, it was reinstated several months later after a hearing before three senior Israeli rabbis -- including Eliyahu Bakshi - Doron, a former Sephardi chief rabbi -- who accepted Metzger's explanations and his commitment to leave the Tel Aviv race, the paper said.

The petition also argues that the Metzger, 50, who previously was rabbi of north Tel Aviv, was not qualified to
fill the chief rabbi's duties as head of the country's rabbinic court system because he never had been a religious judge or rabbi of a major city. The
petition maintained that the elections committee for the chief rabbi was not adequately informed of the misconduct allegations against Metzger. In related development, Ma'ariv recently published what it said were sexual harassment allegations involving Metzger. Three weeks before Metzger's election as chief
rabbi, the paper reported, it learned of complaints from four adult men who
claimed Metzger had touched their arms, legs and chests and expressed admiration for their muscular physiques.

From Benny Morris, "The Birth of the Palestinian Refugee Problem 1947-49", p. 297: "...if people become accustomed to the large figure and we are actually obliged to accept the return of the refugees, we may find it difficult, when faced with hordes of claimants, to convince the world that not all of these formerly lived in Israeli territory. It would, in any event, seem desirable to minimize the numbers...than otherwise."

40. David Ben-Gurion, May 1948, to the General Staff. From Ben- Gurion, A Biography, by Michael Ben-Zohar, Delacorte, New York 1978: "We should prepare to go over to the offensive. Our aim is to smash Lebanon, Trans-Jordan, and Syria. The weak point is Lebanon, for the Moslem regime is artificial and easy for us to undermine. We shall establish a Christian state there, and then we will smash the Arab Legion, eliminate Trans-Jordan; Syria will fall to us. We then bomb and move on and take Port Said, Alexandria and Sinai."

41. BenDavid -Gurion, one of the father founders of Israel, described Zionist aims in 1948: "A Christian state should be established [in Lebanon], with its southern border on the Litani river. We will make an alliance with it. When we smash the Arab Legion's strength and bomb Amman, we will eliminate Transjordan too, and then Syria will fall. If Egypt still dares to fight on, we shall bomb Port Said, Alexandria and Cairo... And in this fashion, we will end the war and settle our forefathers' account with Egypt, Assyria, and Aram"

[Begin, and Yitzhak Shamir who were members of the party became Prime Ministers.] Albert Einstein, Hanna Arendt and other prominent Jewish Americans, writing in The New York Times, protest the visit to America of Menachem Begin, December 1948: "Among the most disturbing political phenomena of our time is the emergence in the newly created State of Israel of the Freedom Party (Herut), a political party closely akin in its organization, method, political philosophy and social appeal to the Nazi and Fascist parties."

43. Martin Buber, Jewish Philosopher, addressed Prime Minister Ben Gurion on the moral character of the state of Israel with reference to the Arab refugees in March 1949. "We will have to face the reality that Israel is neither innocent, nor redemptive. And that in its creation, and expansion; we as Jews, have caused what we historically have suffered; a refugee population in Diaspora."

46. Aba Eban (the Israeli Foreign Minister) stated arrogantly. New York Times June 19, 1967: "If the General Assembly were to vote by 121 votes to 1 in favor of "Israel" returning to the armistice lines-- (pre June 1967 borders) "Israel" would refuse to comply with the decision."

Dr. Israel Shahak, Chairperson of the Israeli League for Human and Civil Rights, and a survivor of the Bergen Belsen concentration camp, Commenting on the Israeli military's Emergency Regulations following the 1967 War. Palestine, vol. 12, December 1983: "Hitler's legal power was based upon the 'Enabling Act', which was passed quite legally by the Reichstag and which allowed the Fuehrer and his representatives, in plain language, to be what they wanted, or in legal language, to issue regulations having the force of law. Exactly the same type of act was passed by the Knesset [Israeli's Parliament] immediately after the 1067 conquest granting the Israeli governor and his representatives the power of Hitler, which they use in Hitlerian manner."

Benyamin Netanyahu, then Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister, former Prime Minister of Israel, tells students at Bar Ilan University, From the Israeli journal Hotam, November 24, 1989: "Israel should have exploited the repression of the demonstrations in China, when world attention focused on that country, to carry out mass expulsions among the Arabs of the territories."

Jerusalem Domestic Radio Service: "The past leaders of our movement left us a clear message to keep Eretz Israel from the Sea to the Jordan River for future generations, for the mass aliya [immigration], and for the Jewish people, all of whom will be gathered into this country."

Ben Gurion: In 1899, Davis Triestsch wrote to Herzl: " I would suggest to you to come round in time to the "Greater Palestine" program before it is too late... the Basle program must contain the words "Great Palestine" or "Palestine and its neighboring lands" otherwise it's nonsense. You do not get ten million Jews into a land of 25,000 Km2". " The present map of Palestine was drawn by the British mandate. The Jewish people have another map which our youth and adults should strive to fulfill -- From the Nile to the Euphrates."

54. Vladimir Jabotinsky (the founder and advocate of the Zionist terrorist organizations), Quoted by Maxime Rodinson in Peuple Juif ou Problem Juif. (Jewish People or Jewish Problem): "Has any People ever been seen to give up their territory of their own free will? In the same way, the Arabs of Palestine will not renounce their sovereignty without violence."

We enthusiastically chose to become a colonial society, ignoring international treaties, expropriating lands, transferring settlers from Israel to the occupied territories, engaging in theft and finding justification for all these activities. Passionately desiring to keep the occupied territories, we developed two judicial systems: one - progressive, liberal - in Israel; and the other - cruel, injurious - in the occupied territories. In effect, we established an apartheid regime in the occupied territories immediately following their capture. That oppressive regime exists to this day.
